In 1994, a group of International Harvester (IH) enthusiasts got together and decided to create an entirely unique event that would bring together the IH community in a way that had never been attempted. This group of individuals formed the RMIHR planning committee and developed a family friendly event specifically for International Harvester enthusiasts.

The RMIHR show is uniquely Colorado. The show spotlights IH vehicles and products in the heart of the beautiful Colorado mountains. From the beautiful backdrops of Bailey, Fairplay, Salida, Kremmling and Creede that complement the Saturday Show and Shine event, to the trips to rugged backcountry- Rendezvous provides International owners a chance to feel the beauty of Colorado. The show includes a vendor row, parade, vehicle games and scenic drives. Another aspect of the show unlike any other, is the Wild Game Cookout. This dinner allows show participants to gather and share a meal. It’s an opportunity for friendships to develop, along with a chance to sample some true Rocky Mountain cuisine.

Unfortunately, we need to recognize that every year, there are a few less classic Internationals in the world.  It’s encouraging to see the Rendezvous continuing to thrive and grow each year.  Please take the time to check out the amazing Internationals that come to our event.  From showroom ready trucks, to rough and ready trail rigs. Each vehicle is the apple of its owner’s eye- and has been restored or modified to serve a specific purpose unique to its owner. Find time to go on a scenic trip in the area, participate in the Games and Mud Bog, and otherwise enjoy this unique event!

The Rocky Mountain International Harvester Rendezvous is a 501(c) tax exempt non-profit organization. All proceeds from registration fees, event sponsors, clothing and memorabilia sales and donations are directly applied to operating expenses of the event. No RMIHR committee members or volunteers receive payment for any time or services.
